Our goal is simple: support our school community by building strong, lasting relationships.
The Mott Elementary Parent-Teacher Organization was created to support the success of our children by building relationships and community between families, educators and the school.

Who’s Who on the PTO?
Darla Barar
Darla is serving her fourth year on the PTO, this time as the Webmaster and Fundraising Co-Chair. She has two Mott Owls—a daughter in 4th grade and a son in 3rd grade—and loves being a part of the Mott community. When she’s not full-time momming and carting kids around, or full-time working at her job in Marketing, Darla loves to read, travel, and try new restaurants with her husband. She’s a native Austinite and the PTO’s resident Swiftie, both titles she’s proud to hold!
Jeana Bores
Jeana is serving her third year on the PTO and is excited to be an Owl Fest Co-Chair. As the mom of two Mott Owls, she loves finding ways to support the school community and create fun, memorable experiences for students and families. Outside of volunteering, Jeana works full-time in Data Analysis and spends much of her free time at the baseball fields, taking her boys to their activities, trying new recipes in the kitchen, and embracing the busy life that comes with raising two active boys.
Brooke Grossman
Brooke is the Spirit Night Coordinator and is proudly serving her second year on the PTO. A mom of three boys, two of whom attend Mott, she balances a full-time career in Marketing with cheering from the soccer sidelines, shuttling kids to activities, and keeping the family organized.

Lauren has been part of the PTO for four years and is excited to continue supporting the school community as the Yearbook Designer and Fundraising Co-Chair. As the mom of a Mott Owl, she loves finding ways to make school experiences fun and memorable for students and families. Ashley Yon
Ashley is the Spirit Merch Coordinator, and while she's new to Mott, she's no stranger to serving on a PTO. When she's not working full-time for the State of Texas, she's busy chauffeuring her kindergartner and second grader to soccer, gymnastics, and karate. In her spare time, Ashley enjoys attempting to read, traveling, and soaking up those rare but amazing cool Texas evenings in the backyard with her family.
